- Working with the design team to understand customer requirements, ensuring optimal product specifications and quality.
- Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.

QUALITY INSPECTOR

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for people who have experience with post-manufacture quality inspection within the engineering industry, preferably but not necessarily in the Fabrication, Sheet Metal or CNC industry.
Necessary experience:
• Quality Inspection
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Understanding of tolerances
• Use of standard inspection equipment
• Understanding of basic quality systems / ISO 9001
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within a busy Sheet Metal/Fabrication workshop. The role will involve post-manufacture quality inspection/control of CNC & fabricated parts and weldments such as:
• Measuring parts, checking dimensions against drawings
• Identifying non-conforming parts
• Raising NCRs / non-conformance report if necessary
• Typing up reports
• Checking final packs are complete
• Liaising with production / welders / supervisors
